Our History

Kafui Tot Centre was established to provide quality early childhood education and holistic development opportunities for children between the ages of two to six years at Dedenya Shaihills in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Recognizing the critical importance of the early years in children's growth and future success, KTC creates a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can develop academically.

Since the beginning, KTC has been committed to supporting children in underserved communities. Through dedicated teaching, community engagement, and child-centered learning approaches, the center continues to help lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and development.

The Founder's Story

"Why should some children have access to safe classrooms, qualified teachers, books, and opportunities, while others are forced to overcome enormous obstacles just to receive a basic education?"

For the founder of KTC Center, the struggle for education began long before she entered a classroom. She grew up in a rural village where access to basic necessities such as clean water and electricity was nonexistent, and where quality education was not within reach. Attending class meant walking long distances along isolated paths.

Today, KTC exists because one girl who once walked those difficult roads refused to accept that this should be the reality for another generation of children. Kafui Tot Center is more than an educational initiative; it is a commitment to children who have been overlooked, underserved, and left behind.

Because education is not a privilege reserved for a fortunate few. It is a fundamental right.
